MetaVu-VRush is an immersive XR (Extended Reality) training simulator system for ship painting operations, based on digital twin technology.
It precisely replicates real shipyard environments to provide standardized and structured vocational training, moving beyond traditional apprentice-based methods. By modeling full-scale ship blocks and simulating various paint properties, spray angles, distances, and nozzle pressures, users can practice painting in a realistic virtual space.

Trainees receive real-time visual feedback through heatmaps that show coating thickness, and instructors can offer intuitive guidance using virtual pointers. The system also tracks spray angles, speeds, paint usage, and working time to provide detailed performance evaluations and support repetitive training for improved proficiency.

MetaVu-VRush enhances safety, reduces training costs and time, and contributes to ESG practices, making it an ideal smart training solution for digital transformation in the shipbuilding and offshore industries. It has already been delivered to major shipyards including Hyundai Heavy Industries.
